I used to work with Jayne in the 80's in Nottingham.
So sorry to hear of your loss. She was a lovely person.
So Sorry Andy. I went to your wedding reception at that pub in Derby near the station. Good times!!!

So sorry to hear the sad news. We were both big No Right Turn fans back in the day, and travelled far and wide for the sound of Jayne's vocals. The world has lost a great talent and I can only imagine how Andy is feeling. Our thoughts go out to the family, and to Mick, Boz, Adrian etc. I have recently converted the old demos and albums from cassette to CD. They will be played tonight and a toast raised. ... To Jayne.

My condolances Andy. I have many good memories of Jayne, yourself and the band from the early days at the Blessington and the Brunswick through many festivals, up to last years wonderful return to Off The Tracks.

The shimmer of a raindrop A whisper in the wind The touch of morning sunlight Always with us and around us The Spirit finds a home
Thank you, every one for your kind words and thoughts at a difficult time for myself and Ashlin
we are so privilaged to have been a part of her life and married to her for some 20+ years
she will always be in our hearts
we are so lucky that Jayne left us her music ...

No Right Turn and Off The Tracks Festivals are deeply saddened to announce that Jayne ‘Patra’ Cooper passed away today, Monday, 23 May. Jayne was an energetic, spiritual presence who brought light and music into the lives of everyone she touched. The earthly world is a poorer place for her absence. Our thoughts are with Andy, Ashley and Jayne’s family.

It is a rare experience indeed that one stumbles upon a band whose music strikes at the core of one's being and moves them in a way no other music has. That band is No Right Turn. Back in the mid 90's while I was working nights I heard a song, I believe it was Shark Charmer, on the local Pacifica station KPFT in Houston, Texas. That piece of music has stuck in my head since then. Back then I couldn't find an album of No Right Turn anywhere in the US. Since 1998, when I first got access to the internet, I searched on-line for years and never found anything about this great band. Tonite I decided to do another Google search and to my astonishment here they are! So I listened to Shark Charmer and immediately bought Time and Tide. I'm sharing this with everybody I know. I really wish you guys could play here in the US and I hope that Jayne is OK. All the best from Houston.
